Why is my refunded app still in my phones storage? How to delete it?

I just bought NBA 2K17 but it lags on my phone even on the lowest settings, so I decided to delete it. Yes I got my money back and the apps icon is gone but I noticed that my phones memory is still the same as when I installed the app. So please help me, my phone is Samsung A5(2016)
