Why is my S4 suddenly dead?

s4 is suddenly dead. please help

today, my s4 suddenly turned off while i was playing songs using handsfree. it did not turned on now. its like dead. my battery is also good and it was still 60 % left. i am confused where is the problem exist.. please help...?

Welcome.

Try removing and replacing the battery. If necessary, press and hold Power for a minute or so.

Despite the 60% charge remaining, the battery may nevertheless have failed, among other possibilities.
