You guys may not have fully unrooted your phone.

Re: update problem

Check on your phones for the app "SuperSU". If you see it, run that, and there should be an option to "completely unroot" your phone.

Other rooting methods are "towelroot", "kingo", and others may chime in. You should be able to find these in the apps (hopefully) and undo your root. Then you can get your updates. Good luck!

If you rooted your phone it is possible that you tripped KNOX. In order for it to restore you have to use Odin and reset your phone with the stock firmware. Doing this you will lose everything thing on your phone so do a backup.

There is no way to reset the Knox flag once it has been tripped, (0 x1). Flashing a stock Samsung firmware will not reset your phone, normally, as it is a no-wipe flash via Odin.

Hey if you didn't found the Fix ...So here is the fix Download Samsung Kies
Step(1)Open Kies
Step(2)Go to tools
Step(3)Select Firmware Upgrade and intaliasing
Step(4)IT WILL TAKE TIME TO DOWNLOAD NEW FIRMWARE FOR YOUR DEVICE
STEP(5)ENJOY YOUR DEVICE CAN BE UPGRADED

I did the full unroot with SuperSu and I also have this problem but I think mine might be caused from having a custom recovery installed
