Why is my Samsung Galaxy P1000 not starting?

I again have a question,

I got an old samsung galaxy tab from my aunt,
I have bought a new usb charger. Or the tablet, or the usb cable is not working.
I have read to leave it 2 hours, and let it charge may help?

Leave it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 4 hours undisturbed. Then try to power on again. If it doesn't power on, then the possibilities include a dead battery, a faulty charging port, or a faulty motherboard. Regardless of the cause, you'd have to bring it to a repair shop if you wanted to salvage it. Otherwise, recycle it.
