Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about at home, or also at work or in public? When you turn on wi-fi, so you see a list of wi-fi networks appear in the Settings>Wi-fi​ menu?

• Is your Wi-Fi turned on?
• Are you in range of any Wi-Fi networks?
• Are you trying to connect to a secured network?
• Are you using the correct password?
• Is the network using DHCP?

And probably the most helpful question:

• Do you get an error message and what is it?
