my samsung grand 2 is taking 15 min to start and is getting heated

when i upgraded my samsung grand 2 to kitkat 4.4... the following problem occurs... my touch opanel was nt working, phone is starting very slowly and is getting heated soon...

Welcome to Android Central! Two things to try:

1. If you have an SD card, unmount it (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and reboot. If the card got corrupted somehow during the update process, it could cause various problems.

2. Try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.
