Samsung Note 3 screen freezing after unplugging charger

Hi guys,
i am having problems with my samsung note 3.
After charging to 100%, the phone swipe screen comes up...when i swipe the screen my phone freezes. This also often happens at other times but this is the most common.

The only option i have is to pull the battery out of the phone, then restart it.

Any ideas?

If it were mine, I'd do a ROM reflash that didn't alter the data partition. You'll need different ROM files for different carriers, but look on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - XDA Forums for your carrier's forum, then in the development sub-forum, and see if anyone has a set of files that doesn't wipe data. If it's an AT&T, Walter something-or-other posted them (look for a signature that's a flasher trying to hail a cab). If it's another carrier, there's probably a set too, but I've never looked.

Then read [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN.

The first time it's nerve-wracking at best and terrifying at worst. By the 10th time you flash a ROM you'll die of boredom - watching the grass grow in the winter in Siberia is more exciting and more scary.
