Android Central Question

600 to 750 mb ram is used it leaves me with 100mb

Android actually WANTS to fill the RAM as much as possible. This is why RAM cleaners are a waste of time - the OS is just going to re-fill it. While Windows has us conditioned to think more free RAM means a faster device, Linux/Unix-based devices work the opposite. Even macOS (which is based on that platform) wants to fill RAM as much as possible.

Yeah, what he said.

RAM uses the same amount of power whether it's full or empty, so keeping it full allows things to remain open in the background with no loss of battery life. This allows for more efficient use of the battery, and quicker task switching.

Moved to the S3 forum for more exposure. (The S3 isn't the Tab S3.)
