Why is my Samsung S5 charging so slow?

Samsung S5 is charging so slow

I bought a new Samsung S5 2 weeks ago and only use the samsung wall charger. The charging time is 5h+.
I thought it was the beginning and the battery needed to warm-up but it is still the same. Is there any app or thing to do to check this out?

You are also using the cord with it? I had the S5 and Note 3, there was always debate about using the Samsung brand cord. My testings and views were, there was a difference in another cord and the Samsung cord.
