Samsung S5 getting warm after falling down

Hi!

My Galaxy S5 fell down on the wooden floor. And I noticed that it gets warmer then it did before - doing the same tasks as before. Phone warms up to about 50°C or so after taking few pictures for example or when I am browsing the internet or checking mail. Now I wonder if it was the fall that caused this problem or it just started to get warm from some other reason? I don't have any cleaners or battery managing apps installed and the phone has no visible damage. So am I just imagining or could the fall really be the problem?

Welcome to Android Central! A corrupt file on the SD card is a common cause for heating up--one possible scenario is that the card got temporarily unseated from the drop, and removing an SD card without unmounting it can cause file corruption. So perhaps the drop caused a file to get corrupt, and now the system's Media Scanner is getting hung up on the file (which is what causes the overheating). Try unmounting the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and see if the overheating persists.
