Why is my Samsung tablet stuck in odin (trying to root)

Hey guys,

I have this problem trying to root my samsung tablet, (using kingoroot). Everything works fine, untill my tablet pops into odin mode where it just is stuck. I've been waiting for hours for this thing to disappear. Then I just decided to use the power button to restart the tablet, which actually worked. I did notice that I got the programs that kingo root installed on my tablet, but when I tested the root checker it said it wasn't rooted.
