Why is my screen glitching?

I have a LG Tribute 2 (LG LS665). I recently enabled developer options and USB debugging for an app (PdaNet). After a small while, my screen began to glitch, showing bars of color that come from the icons on my lock screen, home buttons and so forth. It also has a phantom image of bright apps, like Facebook or Google+. For the most part, the bars do not go past where the keyboard pops up, giving the appearance of a phantom keyboard, or a keyboard slide-up animation. I've tried undoing all of my previous changes, and that didn't help. Is this more of a hardware problem than a software or firmware issue?
