Why is my screen glitchy?

I have the Galaxy S5 for a while now and I've dropped it a couple times. The screen was responsive until the other day. I plugged my phone in, went to the shower, and came back to only see that my phone screen was glitchy and allows me only to see glitchy content on my phone. The phone screen has a series of white lines running parallel to each other vertically and I can barely see anything. Would anyone know what my problem is and if so what I could do to fix it?
