Help! I've had to reboot a few times the last couple of days & when I do, my SD notification says "checking SD card for errors", as it always does....but for the last few days, its staying there a REALLY long time.....a few times I even had to reboot again to get it to go away (see screen shot below).

Is this a bad sign? Also a few times my screen has randomly gone black. I have to hit the power button & it shows back up, locked.

Does this SD card thing happen to anyone else? Is this a known issue? I've even cleared my cache. This current screen shot has had the notification on for several minutes already. I can however, still access all files.

Meh. How much stuff do you have on your sd card? Have you added anything near the time it started doing it? Just to be safe I would back the whole thing up to your pc, but I think if it's still working it should be fine, but you never know. Sd cards have been known to work one minute, and then not work the next so back it up just to be sage

I agree with carracerz14 about backing up the important files from your SD card on your PC, but I would go a step further and then reformat the SD card, then transfer the files back. Maybe the SD card developed some corrupted sectors that could be recovered or isolated with a reformat.

Yeah I didn't even think of that. Back up, format in your phone, and move everything back it should work fine then
