Why is my wireless charger flashing blue, green, blue then not charging?

[Android Central Question]

Whenever I plug in my wireless charger, it flashes royal blue, green, then light blue...with or without my phone on it. Then my phone (Galaxy S9+) does not charge at all.

Anyone else have this issue and a solution to the problem?

Equipment: Samsung Wireless Charger Model: EP-PG920i
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S9+

The color when you plug it in indicates it's powered on. When you place your phone on it, it should change color, which indicates you're lined up and charging. If it keeps alternating, you are not lined up, or you have a too thick case on it, or you're not using the supplied power brick.
