Why is sound heard from my speaker when my headphones are plugged in (LG G4)?

Welcome to AC.

Have you made you they are fully plugged in? There can be a high resistance to the last couple of millimetres.

Encountered same problem. Plug not all the Way in. Especially if you have a case on the G4. Wiggle & push.
