Why is the corner of my pixel 2xl is getting dark?

The left bottom corner of my pixel 2 xl is getting kind of green on one spot. I Don't understand why its happening. Is my display pixels getting dead? I would appreciate if someone gave me some advice.

Welcome to Android Central! Sounds like the display might be failing. Make sure you've backed up or synced any important data in case the screen suddenly fails without notice.

Look carefully at the glass or body of the phone at that corner -- any cracks? If so, it could be related to water damage.
