AC Question

I've been trying to disable the badge provider on my galaxy s7 edge but the disable button is greyed out and I have no clue how to fix that. Any help and information is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. I'll move this thread to the S7e forum for more visibility.

I downloaded the package disabler pro so that you can disable all the things you dont want :)

I have the same problem. Why would Samsung make it so this cant be disabled? I have red dots everywhere. Peeved. Android turning into apple and telling me how to iuse my phone.

I've tried everything i can think of. Nothing works.

Welcome to Android Central! Not all system apps can be Disabled. If you don't want to use Package Disabler Pro, then you could always install a 3rd party launcher like Nova Launcher. ZenUI Launcher from ASUS is kind of similar to TouchWiz, and gives you a little more control over unread badge counts, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with Samsung phones.
