Factory reset giving error on my asus fonepad 7 FE170CG

Whenever i try to factory reset my tab,the reset process begins but ends with an "error!".Please help

Welcome to Android Central! Is the device rooted? Are you resetting from the Settings>Backup & Reset menu, or from Recovery Mode?

i have the same problem. my asus k012 always error when i tried to factory reset. yes, my asus has been rooted. now my asus always stuck on asus logo before the asus loading screen. hopefully this forum will help me out
