AC Question

Hey i buyt an galaxy 7s a 2 weeks ago and i went with him to the shower to take a picture and a few hours ago i went to charge it and the fast charging mood wasnt working for me.. antil now... what do i need to do? I went to the setting to turn it on and it turned on but when you get the charger inside it turned off

Maybe it got wet and you need to leave it to dry over the next few hours.

Mine has stopped fast charging to. And it never got wet. I am using the original charger and lead and fast charge is enabled

I've had this happen a few times. Try unplugging the cable and power adapter from the wall and from each other and try again. Might have to do this at most 3 times then you good be good.

Love for all things android and IT

Try a different cable.

That tends to be the main faulty part.

I have a couple of cables that when attached to my Fast Charger, still only read the cable as USB.

A couple of things. You may know this, but just in case:

You need to switch fast charging on (in the battery screen) with the phone unplugged. Then plug the phone in.

Fast charging doesn't work while the screen is on. (It doesn't sound like this is your problem, though).

You are using the original charger and cable, right?

I've run into this problem a few times when my S7 has gotten wet. Whatever you need to do to dry the USB port out, do so. I've blown into mine like an old Nintendo cartridge and I've left it in front of a fan for a while to dry it out. Once it's dry, you may need to change the cable and/or reboot. The cable that came with my unit is still good for fast charging, but the one that came with my Galaxy Note 4 is no longer good for either phone. If you need to order another Samsung cable, they're pretty cheap on Amazon.
