The Htc M9 was charging perfectly till about a week ago, since then it says '9hrs until full' Even from 30% even with QuickCharger 2.0. Please Help, its really bothering me,I got the phone a month ago, battery shouldnt be out so soon,
could this be after the update a few days ago? PLEASE HELP!!

Welcome to Android Central! When it's charging from a wall outlet, does it say "Charging (AC)" or "Charging (USB)"? If it says USB, then the charging plug, the cable, or the microUSB port might be the issue. Make sure the microUSB port is clear of any debris. Try using a different cable. If neither works, then replace the charger. If the replacement charger doesn't work, then there's probably something wrong with the microUSB port.

Did you update to the 1.40 version? There is a bug that causes slow charging on some devices. Apparently this doesn't affect everybody. Have a look here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-one-m9/541510-charging-issues-since-update.html

Try recalibrating the battery. It worked for some of us.

If that doesn't work, then before charging your device, reboot it and plug it in. It should work at least once..

The new 2.7 firmware (currently in beta testing by HTC) solves this issue..

The OP said in his original post that he is using the Rapid Charger 2.0, so how could he be charging via USB? :)
