Why is the towelroot app unresponsive on my DROID RAZR M 4.4.2?

why is towelroot app unresponsive DROID RAZR M 4.4.2?

Trying to root my DROID RAZR 4.4.2. I don't have access to a PC and have read this is the way to go. I have towelroot v1 installed and when I hit the make it ra1n button nothing happens and I am told that towelroot is unresponsive. No reboot happens. Am I missing a step?

No. You should either get a "your phone will restart in 15 seconds" message or a message telling you that your phone's not supported (which it isn't if your kernel is dated after June 2, 2014). Try uninstalling Towel Root and downloading it again.
