Android Central Question

The blue dot is NOT next to a contact or a message. Instead is it on the opening screen of the message app in the upper left corner next to the three lines (hamburger?). So it's to the left of the word "Conversation" at the top of the screen.

Welcome to AC!
What do u want to edit , members are limited what they can change, you using mobile app or website?

I am using the website and went into the forum in a different manner so I think I can post a screenshot and also make a correction - it's an S8 not an S9.

Sorry! It's an S8 on Verizon.Using Message+. I have an app that displays the time and date in the upper left corner but that does not effect the Message+ app. I hope you will be able to see the photo I'm attaching. Galaxy S8 messages1.jpg

I dont use that message app on my Samsung but i think its letting u know like a notification for something, you tap on the menu there and look further?

Thanks. I'm using Message+ on Samsung Galaxy S8, Verizon. There's no blue dot in the expanded menu.

Once you tap each category it will take the blue dot away , it just notifying you to check those out Screenshot_20220202-224439_Message%2B.jpg

Thank you so much! I went into the different options and the blue dot disappeared! Yay!!!!

Samsung does a similar thing in its apps. If you see an orange dot with an N in it, that means there is a new feature or menu option available.
