Why is there a silhouette of old apps in my app drawer?

Hey guys!! I noticed recently that my app drawer has some silhouette's of apps, that the (phone??) removed on its own?? and left a silhouette of the app behind? i click on this silhouette of an app and it says " app not installed"

What's up with that????

I'd be concerned about the phone removing apps on its own for one, why would it do this? As for these remnants that sounds similar to what is sometimes seen with Microsoft programs and the like. Usually it just takes a restart to get rid of them. If you have restarted and they still exist try to turn off "fast start" and see if that helps.
