Why is there ads on my tablet?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 running M 6.0.1.There has been ads on my tablet that randomly pop up,even in games.I don't know what the cause is but sometimes a red circle with a eye symbol pops up and pops up an ad.Please help it pauses my games for no reason!If you recommend rooting please tell me a way to root without PC please!
