why is there bloatware on my NEXUS!!!

ok so as im concerend there shouldn't be any carrier bloatware on any nexus devices then why do i have Att navigator, Att smart wifi, My att, and chat on?!?!?!?!?! my g nex was also used on At&t and didn't have any of that crap on it. anyone else experiencing this? why is this?

Did you have an AT&T phone? Did you check back up? If yes to both, Google Play downloaded these when you bought your N5. It simply added the apps you told it to back up, just like you told it to.

I share your annoyance, but IMO, true bloat is stuff you cannot remove. If you can uninstall this stuff I don't think it counts as bloat.

I hate it as much as you do though. If you think AT&T is bad you should get a taste of Verizon. They were just awful.

You have bloat because you used to have an ATT phone before and you backed up that phone with Google, so when you signed in to the nexus it restored from your back up and added the apps from your ATT account that are compatible with your device on Google Play
