Why is there no earpiece grill on Samsung Galaxy S20 ?

So i was watching a tear down video of the s20 and noticed that while yes the ear piece at the top of the display is pretty thin I'm surprised to see there was no grill behind it protecting it from dust. So any dust, debris that goes into that little slot just goes down a thin tunnel/canal until it meets the speaker.
So i'm thinking over time that dust would accumulate in there and there would be no way to get it out. I noticed the Note 10 also has the thin earpiece at the top of the display but it has a gril.
Is there a reason for not adding the grill to the earpiece ?

I'm not sure why, but it's probably not an issue. If it concerns you there are probably ways to draw it out with a small vacuum.
