Do yourself a favor and avoid sifting through all of the system apps on the device. If you worry about any app you don't recognize, then you'll worry yourself with all of the various system apps that are present and that are important for the device to work normally.
Think about it -- do you look through all of the hundreds of thousands of system files in a Window PC?
