Why isn't my battery charging on my Ultratab tablet?

Battery not charging on my Ultratab tablet

I have a Jazz Ultratab C954. The plug for charging has always been a little loose, but now it doesn't seem to charge at all. I have tried multiple plugs and different connections (to the wall, to the computer). If I push on the plug in to the tablet really hard I get a picture of the battery in green that shows it filling really fast about 3 times and then it turns red and goes black. If I let go and push the cord again it will do the same thing. It never seems to make enough of a charge for me to be able to get the tablet turned on so I can see the battery icon, and since there is no charging light, I am stumped as to figure out if, in fact, the tablet is charging.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! The problem is probably with the microUSB port. You'd need to get it replaced--take it to a repair shop.

If the manufacturer won't help (SUPPORT), then see if your local cellphone repair shop will look at it.
