Why isn't my BB Keyone connecting to cars Android Auto?

[AC Question]

I have 2016 Honda Accrod which comes with Apple Car Play or Android Auto. When i plug my BB k1 the cars infotainment screen just says " No known devices connected". I tried a couple of different USB's but nothing. Any ideas? Please help! Really want to use Waze or Google maps on my cars screen!
