Droid Razr M not charging

I have had my Droid Razr M plugged in for at least 12 hours (overnight). All it has done is repeatedly turn off and on about every minute or two, and it doesn't even completely boot up before it dies again. At first, it would get to the lock screen and then die about a minute later, but now, it doesn't even get to the lock screen.
I also found something strange before it died. I had left it on overnight one night on accident, and when I checked it the next night, it said it still had 24% battery from the lock screen, and the touchscreen wasn't functioning at all. Then, a minute later, it just shut off. That has happened 2 times, but the first time it actually charged again. This time, it just does what I explained before. I've had the turning off and on happen before, but usually for only 5 or 10 minutes, then it started charging.
I know it isn't the charger, because the same charger works for my tablet and all of the other mobile devices that I own. When I have it plugged into my computer, it doesn't get power at all unless I move the charger a certain way (so could it be the charging port not functioning right?).
I'd really like to have a functioning phone without having to get another... is there any way I could fix this problem?

PS: The person who had the phone before me had damaged the screen really badly, to the point where sometimes, I get a small shard of glass in my finger. I don't know if that could have anything to do with it, because that was many months ago (and this problem just started occurring last night), but I thought it would be nice to know just in case it could have something to do with it.

UPDATE: Phone isn't getting any power at all from what I can tell, no matter what outlet or charger I use. The charging LED isn't lighting up anymore and it doesn't power on at all.

Re: Droid Razr M not charging

Welcome to Android Central! It's hard to say for sure, but I'd guess that either the battery is dead, or there's a significant problem with the charging port or the motherboard. In any case, you'd have to bring it to a repair shop.
