Google Play store app won't work on Samsung note 4.

Why isn't my Google Play store app working on my Samsung Note 4?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by uninstalling Google? Are you rooted? You can't uninstall preinstalled Google apps unless you're rooted.
Do your other Google apps and services work correctly, like Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.?
Try going to Settings>Accounts, and remove your Google account. Then add it back again.

Ok stupid google site just wiped my answer. Shall try again, now a shorter version.
Go to playstore home page, click the top left 3 lines, scroll down and click on help. This will take you to google support. If you follow the links as follows. Purchasing and downloading, then downloading on Google play, then download troubleshooting, then problems downloading apps and games. Then click on each step and it will show you what to do. To get back and try the next step you will have to follow some of the above steps again it doesn't go back to the step page if you click on your back button.
To get to your playstore settings go to settings on your phone then scroll all the way down to applications manager, the tab up the top should say downloaded, flick this across until you get to 'all'. scroll down to google play store, then click on this. My downloading issue was fixed once i cleared data. I had already disabled and enabled, forced stop and cleared cache. it was clearing data that ended up working, don't know if it was because I'd done the other things as well but you could try that first if you want to cut corners to what I did to find this. Telstra and I spent an hour on telstra 24/7 chat, but we got there. Have a great day
