Why isn't my Haptic Feedback in Sync with Key Press?

Haptic Feedback Not in Sync With Key Press

On the lock screen, I used to feel the haptic feedback as soon as I pressed a number in my PIN. Now the haptic feedback comes after I take my finger off the number. Has anyone else experienced this? How I can I go back to feeling the haptic feedback as soon as I press a number?

The phone is a Motorola Moto X 1st generation.
