Note 2 (Sprint) no longer recognizing/syncing on Windows Devices

I have a Note 2 on Sprint and when I try to connect it to a computer to transfer files, it will no longer connect. I get an error message saying that the USB Device is no longer recognized and that the Device has malfunctioned.

I tried this on multiple computers and get the same error. I was able to get it to work on a tablet, but then shortly after, it stopped working on that too.

I have done research on the internet and have read some others with the same problems and I have tried their various fixes like changing the cable, resetting the device, etc. but I still can't get the device to recognize. I'm wondering if a Windows Update is causing this?

Wondering if anyone else has had the same issue or has any suggestions that I haven't already tried. Any info would be great.

Thanks for the response. I've tried reinstalling the USB Driver but keep getting the same error.

I would have suggested that maybe the problem was with the phone's microUSB port, but you said that the same thing is happening with your tablet as well, right? Is it also a Samsung?

When I try to connect the phone to any computer or my tablet (Surface) I get the same error. Originally the problem only occurred on one computer and then started happening across all devices.
