Why isn't my S4 booting?

S4 is not booting

My s4 just stays turned off. When i take out the battery and put in back it, the device name shows up but the screen stays black after that, not showing the blue flashing icon like it normally does. When i charge/plugged it into my computer, my phone vibrates and shows the grey battery icon with a circle in it and stays black after that. Could this mean my battery is flat? Thanks a lot

Welcome to Android Central! That's a big possibility. Try a new or different battery.
