Screen NOT turning off during calls after upgrade
My son put Cyanogenmod 12 (Android 5.1.1) on for me. As the title says, the screen now does not blank during calls, so my ear pushes on-screen buttons!
I can't find any setting for this.
All my googling only turns up people with the reverse problem – screen always blank.
I have tried suggestions that I found to fix the proximity sensor, connecting the phone to PC via a terminal programme, – but that changed nothing.
Dialing the self-test *#0*# gives an error "Connection problem or invalid MMI code".
Any help?
