Why isn't Samsung Pay working?

[Android Central Question]

Samsung Pay does not work on my phone. My phone is a Galaxy S9+. To save some time... I have updated everything, did not work, I did a factory reset on my phone and updated everything, still doesn't work. Called my bank, no issues on their end. No digital tokens in place. Got a new bank card, still doesn't work.
What is happening?????

Welcome to Android Central! Can you be more specific about how it's not working? Are you unable to add your cards? Are you able to add the cards, but you can't pay with them? Does the app just not open at all?

Has not been rooted.
Specifically it keeps telling me "registration failed, the information you provided is incorrect."

It's only for one specific card, or for any card?

I only have the one card to use. I did get a new one from my bank incase the card was an issue but it still didn't work.

Have you tried calling Samsung? Is that card still acceptable for Samsung pay?

I'm working with samsung pay via email now.
I thought about google pay but can't use it on my gear s3.
