Why isn't the compass of Moto 360 correct?

Why the compass of Moto 360 is not correct

I find the compass reading of Moto 360 is not correct. After I calibrate it to the right compass reading, say 0 degree, I turn it with 90 degree, but the compass reading only changes 10 to 20 degrees.

Is there a real magnetometer in the Moto 360 watch?

I don't think there is one in it, I think it relies on the gyroscope and or GPS from your phone most of the time.
