Why isn't the HideIt Pro app not available in Playstore?

why is hide it pro app not available in playstore?

I forgot my " hide it pro " app password so wen I clicked forgot password it said " uninstall and reinstall it to change your password and your files' ll be safe use default pin 8888. So I uninstalled it. But wen I tried to reinstall it..the app was no longer available in the play store it shows" item not found" !!plz help!!

APK didn't work for me so just do this: go to play store and instead of searching for Hide It Pro instead search for anuj tenani - it comes up under that search and installs fine direct from Play Store. Just installed it on my Xperia Z3 compact and it works as per usual. Cheers, Muffy

Please only post links to approved stores. See the app developer guidelines linked to in my signature. One such store is the Amazon Appstore, which has this app.

1) The "link" was to the search bar in the Google Play Store - the information was what to put into it, not an alternate store. (Notice the "installs fine direct from Play Store" - that's an approved store.)

2) You don't need an app to hide media files. Just create a file in the folder you want to hide, named .nomedia. It doesn't have to have anything in it - the presence of a file with that name tells Media Scanner to skip the folder. Hiding the folder - with the file or with an app - doesn't hide it from everything, just from media apps. File managers can still see the files that are "hidden".
