Why my mobile switch off at 40% battery charge?

My mobile note4 recently started to switch off when it reaches 40% from it's battery charge.
I changed the battery with a new certified one, updated my software but still having the same problem.
What should i do?

Check the shutoff point (it's settable by the user). If it's set to shut off at 40% (which is about right), it's working as it should. (You should never discharge the battery below 40%, but I have mine set for 38%, just in case I need another few seconds to tell someone I'll try to call them back.)
