Why my phone incoming ring tone no sound

Welcome to Android Central! First things first -- you're certain the Ringtone volume slider is turned up, right?

If you go to the Settings>Sounds menu and select a new ringtone, does it play a sample for you? Are you using a preinstalled ringtone, or a custom one?
