Why Root my Xoom HC3.2 WIFI?

I understand rooting and that I can 'do' extra things after rooting, but really, what is there to do after rooting on xoom other than simply messing around with the os, I know on phones there are some aps that won't run without rooting, give me some ideas for why I should root my xoom hc 3.2 wifi.

I did it for better performance, a faster system, and full read and write support on SD card. I love the themes that the community comes up with. The little changes are nice; different icons, colors, and boot animations.

You paid money for the xoom and you own it so you should be able to change what you want.

Xoom: Unlocked, Rooted, Overclocked at 1.5, and on Tiamat 2.1.0 Tachi

Kyocera Echo: Waiting for 2.3 fix.
Source Code Released!!

The same thing goes for tabs like the phones. Some apps need root to run. I like to make my own boot animations that needs root. Running a better kernel with full SD card support not like the read only on 3.2. Also the speed on things I got mine running at 1.7g much faster than the 1g stock.
