This device is gold. Kicks the Samsung note 3s ***.

Build quality is supreme

OS 4.3 + SENSE 5.5= LAGLESS without hiccups unlike the redraws from touchwiz.

sent from my humongous VZW HTC ONE MAX

Well, it shouldn't be due to nobody having one.

I'm looking to pick one up soon and both Amazon and Letstalk are backordered.

But I just use Nova Launcher and... That issue is solved. Yay :D.

Yeah, I'll probably put Nova on the Max anyway, but I agree that I prefer Sense to Touchwiz any day...

I agree.. But.. I usually will always use Nova so to me the default manufacturer Launcher is pointless.

I feel like very few people bought one. It's sad, but it's priced in the same league as the Note 3 which is FAR superior.

No AT&T version as of yet. Still waiting here. Been trying to avoid getting a Note 3. Hate Touchwiz and always found HTC phones to be built to higher quality standards (and tougher)

One page of threads for the HTC Max as opposed to 70 pages of threads for the Samsung Note 3.

Stuck to AT&T here, but I did look at the phone at sprint yesterday. It is big: great for blink feed and other feed sites. The speakers are the deciding factor for me. I'm sure the screen will still look great larger. IF the larger speaker portals make an difference with the same sound amp chip- I'll get one ! Beats is a great equalizer though. It's either a 64 GB HTC One next week, or a Max.

the speakers blow away any other phone out there..
and, it is not the same price as the Plastic Note 3; I paid 149 at sprint for my max, and the note 3 was 249

If you don't use the s pen, save your money, and avoid a COMPLETELY LOCKED DOWN PLASTIC note3, and grab this beauty...you will be glad you did

What else then? I use next launcher on my S4, am I missing anything that touchwiz gives? :-)

TouchWiz is EVERYTHING that you see. Not just the launcher. It's how your contacts look, your email, sms, settings, etc..... It's everything visual on the phone. Using Nova or any other launcher doesn't turn TouchWiz off, it runs on top of it.

do you own a one max, or are you just trolling in here?

It's only what the reviews have said, didn't mean my comment to be down as trolling. Sorry if it did. I should of added more to my post. I don't personally understand the bad reviews as it's basically what the award winning HTC one was. It is a good device but alot seem to be comparing it to the galaxy mega which to me isn't fair when it has an HD screen.

yeah, but who really cares what reviewers say about anything?

The only way to really know is to take an extended test run with any phone..Comparing this to a galaxy mega, is like comparing a hyundai to a porsche...they are both cars, but thats where the similarity ends..

True, it is a good phone and It should still count as a flagship as afterall it is a bigger HTC one. the finger scanner may not be used but a nice feature to have.
