I think Sprint should include free tethering to one device on their smartphones plans. They could throw on some restrictions and what not since it's free but here is my argument:

If I don't have access to a computer I'm going to use my phone anyways for the internet.

They could allow it to one device; but, no simultaneously with your phone. (Data switch back and forth on a priority basis). Block sites like Netflix so your not hording data on movies and such. Or whatever.

A basic tether feature included. That's all I ask, lol.

A computer would use way too much data to be free and there'd be so many restrictions that it wouldn't even be worth the time and effort.

If I want to share my connection, I use wifi.

back in the day you had to pay for every cable box in the house, you could not just pay for the service on one box and hook up more free of charge..

But yes you are already paying for data you should be able to use it how you see fit.

I agree with this statement, you should be able to use the data you paid for. The other option is cancel the data plan and get the3g Router. I have a Droid phone and the Galaxy pad, that might be more economical for me.
