I'm guessing the Note 7 has weaker glass. Try not to drop your device, or put it in a case if you're prone to do so. I don't drop my devices ever, but I still put them in a case because the one day I do drop it, I want it protected.

I dropped my iPhone 6s+ on the back lower left edge. Put a dent and chip in it and a crack on the FRONT of the device.

Dropping these things I think is dumb. Depends on how it's dropped from what height and where the phone lands.

Rule of thumb. If you're going to do without a case then you'll deal with the consequences. Pretty simple to me.

Agreed. I've watched dozens of drop test videos and sometimes they're entertaining, but every time they're pointless. I guess I don't understand why it's necessary to test something when it wasn't made to endure that test. The end result is pretty obvious before you even hit play. Drop test your bathroom mirror and act surprised it breaks? Yet people do the same with a phone covered in glass.

I am very prone to drop mine... a case is a must, learned that the hard way.

I've only had 1 android phone in the 7 or 8 years I've been using them that lasted me the full 2 years (without an insurance claim) before I was eligible for upgrade... Motorola razr maxx. That thing was a tank, and still works to this day... I keep on my dash as a gps unit, and for playing music.

I didnt have note 7 ...But I had Nokia Lumia 525..!!! I think I has been maintaing it from 4 years, I think i had dropped it daily 6-10 times from day 10..!!! It was fab...just yesterday it glass got a big crack...!!!! I felt That This phone is Tsunami proof ....!!!

And any one who thinks that their phone is very hard to break or get a crack on its screen... You Can post here...!!!! Its Fun To Know these experiences..!!!

There is no question, you need to put this phone in a case...I use Speck cases..(Great case).I use the clear case for protection and to feature my coral blue devise.

I love it when they do the oh-so-common 50-foot drop tests. Because, you know, those happen all the time in daily life. :D

The good news is they made it very easy to replace the back yourself for about $20.
So if you do crack it not the end of the world.

It's so weak because everyone fell for the "premium feel" garbage.
So now it has that so called premium feel at the expense of it being more fragile.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and say it's probably because it's glass.

"Can this brick of cement save this iPhone from a 500 foot drop!?"

Please.

As a test, it's stupid. As entertainment, keep dropping. Then again, I always enjoyed it when Letterman dropped **** off the top of his building. :D

I'm all for the tests for entertainment. It's just a shame that so many people watch them and think: "Wow, that phone is a failure! It didn't pass the test!"

WE Dont think that phone is a failure,...!!! Samsung Note 7 Software is god in the android... And I just want to put this post to make people know about the best cases for Note7, Which Keeps it away from cracking...!!! But Thanks For Replying..!!
