Why the galaxy nexus 7 keeps rebooting and how to fix?

AC Question

Hi everyone,i have some weird problem here. First of all my phone just drained my battery like in 4-5 hours,it happened 3 days in a row. Then it just started to reboot. It gives me about 10 seconds to enter settings and clear cache. Still the same. I tried to clear cache from recovery mode but when the little green man starts to do something it just reboots again. I unlock developer mode every time,(between 10-15 seconds gap) but in the fastboot it says its locked. I erase my pattern lock and put it on nothing but it gets back after every reboot. My computer can just temporary see galaxy nexus usb, while it starts but not in fastboot mode.Is there any solution without factory data settings? I am willing to throw away samsung, but i need get my data somehow. Please help me,its about sentimental,my girlfriend died recently. Sorry for bad english btw.

Welcome to Android Central! So sorry to hear about your loss.

Is this the Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone, or Google's Nexus 7 tablet? I wonder if the battery is failing--if it's the Galaxy Nexus, you could try a new battery. Another possibility is a faulty power switch that keeps turning off and on.

Thank you for your fast reply.

How old is the battery? Charging it to 100% doesn't guarantee that a failing battery will work normally. See if you can try a new or different battery.

Battery is 3 years old. I keep trying but the phone just wont remember that i am developer option so i cant connect the phone with a usb mass storage option. I even managed to deinstall some apps but when the phone starts up,they are there, and completely functional. Its very weird.
