Android Central Question

When i bought my note 8 i got an akg earphones with them and the sound was fine but then after a while the sound of the earphone that has the controller on it has lowered alot, i can barely hear anything on it eventhough it is on max.. and now both earphones (the one with the controller and the one without it) have low sound.
It seems that the sound comes from the outside of the earphones not from the inside.
Does anyone have an idea of why thus happened?

Welcome to Android Central! Since it's happening with more than one headphone set, I'd focus on the headphone jack. Make sure it's clear of debris -- use a can of compressed air to blow it out. If it's clear and the problem persists, see if it still happens in Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-36242

Thank you!,
I dont think that the problem is from the phone itself rather than the headphones, i've tried the headphones on another device and the volume is still low.

You mentioned in your original post, though, that two different pairs of headphones have the same problem on your phone -- or did you mean each individual earphone of the pair (i.e., the right one vs the left one)?

It seems to be a misunderstanding... i meant each earphone of the pair

Ok, I understand now. I think you're right -- the headphones themselves are probably faulty. Contact Samsung to see if they will repair them or send you a replacement.

In samsung's online website the say that the warranty exludes headsets and chargers, does that mean that there is no chance that i can get a replacement?

I wouldn't say there's absolutely no chance. Contact Samsung directly and explain to them the situation. If it doesn't sound like normal wear & tear, and you've been treating it well, maybe they'll just send you a replacement.

Another avenue would be to contact AKG: https://www.akg.com/support-product.html
