Stronger data privacy laws and concerns should not be a regional or national issue.

of all your opinions, this one seems to need more explanation. your mention of a need to change US policy for US government access to citizen data seems to contradict the statement. at least US gov officially has to show a court why data is needed; China's justification is probably just because they want it.
