Why when I download pictures from google they dont go to gallery

I try to download images from google and they dont show up in the gallery .or when it give me the option to save to favorites I can't seem to find the pictures

If you are using the "google" app, the images are being stored in a hidden folder that only the Google app can access.

Your best bet is to use a web browser, which will save the files to a user-controlled folder like /Downloads .

Actually, I just learned this solution from RocThrower: https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=884746&p=6324010&viewfull=1#post6324010. Just turn on Storage permission for the Google app!
