Why won"t my Samsung Galaxy 2 Tablet sync with my new PC?

I was able to do it with my old computer just by plugging in the USB cord but when I went to do it today with the new computer, it says Windows doesn't recognize it. I'm not tech savy or anything so I'm stressing out because I need to transfer pictures from my tablet to my computer for my online schooling which starts on Monday. Please someone help me.

Have you tried installing Kies software on your new PC? Here are a couple of articles about it. Since I don't have the minimum 10 post count to post normal links I have to separate these a bit.
